How is Gutenberg installed?
The latest version of Gutenberg can be downloaded from the WordPress repository. It can also be installed in the plugin directory on the “Add plugin” page of the WordPress dashboard.
Details on the Gutenberg editor
As soon as the installation of Gutenberg is completed, further links will be visible in the list of posts under the posts. Every existing post in Gutenberg can be accessed with this. This gives you the option to switch between the classic and the Gutenberg editor.
Gutenberg will be a great change for all users who are on the go on laptop computers. With the new editor, the main focus is on writing. This ensures distraction-free work.
You can remove the right sidebar in the Gutenberg WordPress editor by clicking the “Post Settings” button. Gutenberg thus takes up almost the entire screen.
To switch between the visual editor and the text editor, there is a drop-down list at the top left. This allows you to create a block of text, for example.

In the new Gutenberg Editor, this information is displayed in a pop-up window. The total number of words, blocks and headings are listed.
